Today we are going to tell a wonderful story. Once there was a little boy who loved walking in the park. Every evening he went to a great oak tree, where his friends were waiting — a cheerful kitten and a wise owl. Together they imagined amazing adventures, and when the evening grew warm and quiet, the boy returned home, wrapped himself in a soft blanket, and fell asleep with a smile.
“Who is rustling under the tree?” whispered the little hedgehog, and froze. “It's me, the firefly! Don't be afraid — I'm just looking for my lantern.” “A lantern? A real one?! Wow! Let's go find it together!” And off they went down the path, while the forest smiled quietly around them. What a wonderful thing it is — to find a new friend.
Sleep now, my darling — the day was long and kind. Outside the window the lights are slowly fading, and the town pulls up its warm blanket of night. All the toys are asleep: the bear, the bunny, even the restless little ball. Close your eyes. I am here. I will always be here — tonight, tomorrow, and in every story we are yet to imagine.
Hooray, it's Saturday! That means pancakes for breakfast, the park after lunch, and no hurry at all! Who can reach the swings first? One, two, three — run! The wind whistles past, the sun skips across the puddles, and the whole day lies ahead like a big present we get to unwrap together.
